Murphy's Law Disclaimer

This isn’t a lawyer wording disclaimer. This is C.J. Hallock, the President, and Founder of SaevusPro Media Group™. I just want to cover something that you should know… Murphy’s Law!

...a supposed law of nature, expressed in various humorous popular sayings, to the effect that anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

There are a few different reasons why I wanted to make this disclaimer page.

☞ THE POWER OF SAVE ☜

While you may have heard this hundreds of times, I believe it should be covered again.

Regardless of what you are doing, if it’s going to take more than 5 minutes, you should always physically save your work. Don’t rely on auto-save. It doesn’t always work, and you don’t want to lose hours of work because you didn’t click on “Save”.

Another thing most people don’t teach is the “BackUp”. You should ALWAYS keep a backup of your website. You can use a free plugin like “WPVivid” to create backups and download them to keep a physical copy “Just In Case”.

☞ BUGS IN CODE ☜

This is something that you need to be aware of. There are a lot of different things that can cause issues or “bugs”.

Even the biggest of brands like Facebook, Google, Chevrolet, and SaevusPro has dealt with issues or “bugs” that caused websites to crash.

There could be compatibility issues with a plug-ins that could cause your site to “break”, or a period in the wrong place in an update to the Facebook app that doesn’t allow you to do a specific function.

Don’t let a button that doesn’t work ruin your day.

Keep focused on the finish line, enjoy the journey, and don’t worry about what you can’t control.
